Microsoft Partnership
Microsoft has established the Microsoft Academy Servicer Partner (MASP) Program to help Microsoft IT Academies to take full advantage of their ITA Program benefits. Due to our extensive experience in the Training and Education industry, Masterskill was appointed as the exclusive MASP in South Africa in December 2010.
As a MASP, Masterskill aims to help the ITA decide:
• Which curriculum best fits my classroom or syllabus?
• What is the best way to use the E-Learning that came with my IT Academy membership?
• How can I train my IT staff on a particular technology?
• Can I become a testing center on Microsoft Certification exams?
• How can I let current and potential students know I am a Microsoft IT Academy Program member?
What Is Microsoft IT Academy?
It's a subscription-based membership program designed to help schools offer students and institutes learning solutions for IT skills training and certification as well as technology essentials for professionals. Access to these resources can help students build a successful future with the skills that employers demand. Microsoft IT Academy offers the opportunity for the institute to stay up to date on the latest Microsoft technologies. Best of all, its built-in flexibility makes it easy to integrate these technologies into new or existing curricula, so schools can tailor classes to meet the needs of students of all ages and levels of experience.

Masterskill is passionate believer in the National Qualifications Framework and the need for training to follow a qualification or skills program "path". As such, Masterskill has forged relationships with the MICT SETA so that we are able to offer solutions that align 100% to the requirement from the SETA.

Masterskill is proud to be associated with MICT SETA as one of their preferred content suppliers. Within this SETA we offer NQF content solutions for the following qualifications:

• Technical Support (NQF level 4), SAQA ID: 24293 & SAQA ID: 78964

Masterskill is also in the process of finalizing approval with Services SETA on content for the following qualifications:

Lastly, Masterskill has a full fundamental unit standard range covering Communication, Mathematical Literacy, HIV/Aids as well as Computer Literacy fundamentals from NQF Level 2 to NQF Level 4.
The Fundamentals cover subjects such as communication, numeracy, literacy, etc and form part of each qualification that is to be trained.
PASTEL PARTNERSHIP
Masterskill and Pastel have been in partnership for the last 5 years – specifically for the distribution of the official Pastel course material to the Tertiary Education market. Masterskill has formed solid relationships with the Universities and through discussions with Pastel, it was decided to assist Pastel with providing solutions to this market segment.
Through our innovative systems, Masterskill is able to provide courseware distribution solutions to the large Universities – by providing an online ordering system and delivery option to the students.
PROSOFT PARTNERSHIP
Prosoft (now part of Certification partners) approached Masterskill approximately 7 years ago about the development of the CIW certification program in South Africa. Through this partnership, Masterskill is able to accredit training providers at CIW Authorized Training Centres – enabling them to provide training and certify against the various CIW certifications.
In relation to this program, Masterskill has taken over the responsibilities for the following:
1. Identifying appropriate CIW training centres
2. Vetting these potential CIW training centres
3. Assisting with the "signing up" process for CIW ATC status
4. Provision of the Official CIW face-to-face curriculum
5. Provision of the Official CIW ELearning
6. Assistance with certification vouchers for the CIW exams
