Software Version Number: 5.0
Course length: 1 day
Course Description
Overview: ColdFusion 5.0 Professional Level 1 introduces you to ColdFusion Markup Language. This
course will explain how ColdFusion applications are created and processed. You'll learn how to
customize and use ColdFusion Studio to create your applications. You'll also learn how to access and
display database content in your Web pages.
Prerequisites: To ensure your success, we recommend you first take the following Element K courses,
or have equivalent knowledge:
•
HTML 4.01: Web Authoring, Level 1 (Second Edition)
•
HTML 4.01: Web Authoring, Level 2 (Second Edition)
Delivery Method: Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured handson activities. Benefits: Students will discover the power of ColdFusion-driven Web applications by examining their standard components. They will also customize the ColdFusion Studio work environment to fit their own personal needs. Students will work with ColdFusion functions, variables, queries, and templates. Target student: Anyone who knows how to code in HTML, and who wishes to increase the power of their Web applications by adding CFML-based functionality is an ideal student for this introductory course. What’s Next: Students who wish to learn more about ColdFusion technology and techniques can take the next two courses in Element K's ColdFusion training series, ColdFusion 5.0 Professional: Level 2 and ColdFusion 5.0 Professional: Level 3.
