Course description

Overview: Students will learn to discover client computers, install client software, distribute applications

and other software to clients, collect computer inventory, use software metering, and use remote tools in

Microsoft Systems Management Server 2.0. This course prepares students for the SMS Exam, 70-086.

Prerequisites: The Ziff Davis courses 44-062 Essentials of Microsoft Networking: Second Edition, 44-

532 Windows NT 4.0: System Administration, and 44-531 Windows NT 4.0: System Architecture and

Network Support, or equivalent knowledge.

Delivery method: Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured handson

activities.

Benefits: Students will learn how to administer Microsoft Systems Management Server 2.0 in a

Windows NT 4.0 environment.

Target student: Students enrolling in this course should understand network administration in a
