Using an assessment minimises the cost of training while at the same time increases the effectiveness of skills development initiatives. Whereas, certifications are valuable, professional that allow individuals to benchmark skills or validate their newfound knowledge and skills by achieving certification.
Assessments solutions can be provided by Masterskill through the delivery of CompAssess or IKM assessments.
CompAssess is a Competency based assessment tool that enables an organization to create and deliver tests over the Intranet or Internet or on a standalone PC. The program has a database of already populated questions for IT topics such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc. CompAssess also has incorporated into it an “open engine”, which allows companies to author questions using templates and store them in the question bank.

Known worldwide for its flagship product IKM TechChek™, IKM can produce an objective profile of skill, knowledge, attitude and aptitude of your candidates and employees to help you make the right decisions.
Over the years, the drive for official certification of skills has increased, resulting in organizations looking to register as official testing centres for certain internationally recognized certifications. To aid in this requirement, Masterskill has been appointed as a reseller of Certiport.
